Meaningful Citizen Observation Begins with
Meaningful Preparation

Labor Day is over and the Election Season has begun in earnest.

After the summer frolics and vacation, folks are suddenly asking in large numbers:

What can I do to help secure a fair, honest,

transparent and valid election this year?

First, EIPCa encourages you to VOTE, and be relentless in encouraging others to vote. Do not let anyone sit this one out. It has never been so important to have widespread participation to determine America’s future direction.

If you are discouraged, disenchanted and disgusted enough to ask, “What’s the point?”, PLEASE recognize that even if there is fraud, manipulation and other wrong-doing, it can all be OUTVOTED if We the People SHOW UP.

Second, EIPCa encourages those of you have been an EIPCa election observers to reach out to your EIPCa county team, attend an EIPCa training and join in the essential role of Citizen Oversight with EIPCa.

Third, EIPCa would traditionally encourage those who have not trained with EIPCa before to sign up to become an EIPCa-trained election observer.

However, this year we do not have the bandwidth

to add and process new volunteers due to

the workload surrounding EIPCa’s lawsuits now in process.

Nevertheless, your community, county and state need your involvement, and EIPCa will make that possible and easy.

Because it is crucial that hundreds of California citizens observe the election process from October 7th through the certification of the November election, EIPCa has created a Citizen Observation Education program that everyone can use to prepare to observe the election process.

Our goal is to empower all citizens with the information they need to go out to ballot processing centers, drop boxes and polling locations with confidence that their observations will be valid, lawful, helpful and meaningful.

Your participation will make the difference!

Those who denigrate the value of Citizen Observation

do NOT understand what MEANINGFUL Observation is.

Real Observers are NOT lookie-loos or loiterers. Real Observers are educated in what to look for and how to legally intervene to make things right when they appear to be going awry.

EIPCa has created easy-to-digest, bite-sized “articles” for you that, together, give you the information you need. Instructions on how to access those articles are at the end of this notice.

EIPCa also offers you access to our Citizen Observer HOTLINE for important questions and support when you encounter issues you cannot resolve.

EIPCa encourages you to

  • secure a partner or a small group,

  • download the educational articles from our website (links below),

  • read and digest them together,

  • compare calendars and commit to observation days and times together.

This will enhance your enjoyment of the experience

while bolstering your confidence and probability of follow-through.

Prepare to be the eyes and ears
